Welcome to Broadside Creatives. We are a Sunderland-based not for profit arts organisation specialising in the delivery of high-quality arts engagement, artist mentoring, community projects, cultural collaborations, and creative facilitation. We develop activities ranging from community sculpture works to one-off give it a go taster workshops that are accessible to all.

 

Furthermore, we are specialists in offering affordable private and lockable studios, workshops and office space across Sunderland city centre for less than the cost of a daily cup of coffee.

 

We offer hands-on experiences in cultural activities which include the local and regional narratives, histories and social and cultural influences to foster a sense of ownership of the involvement of the creative practices our participants and audiences engage with. 

 

It is our mission to celebrate and develop culture in the heart of the communities we work with.  Our organisation aims to build communities’ cultural knowledge and experience whilst enriching lives and fostering greater well-being and health.
